Thoughts Flow: Aspirations of 2021: India moving to top 5 in Olympics medals list in the next 10 years? …
We received Super good news from Tokyo Olympics which is our first gold medal that was won by Neeraj Chopra in Javelin throw. This is so significant as it's our first Gold medal in this Olympics. The significance of Gold medal recognition changes based on the increase in the number of Gold medal winners. For the US and China, it's all about catching the top place and not the individual gold winners. For Australia at the sixth place, may be will look at moving to the top 3 as its significant accomplishment in Olympics. The significance varies depends on where we are in the list of the country-wise medal count. This may be the usual human psychology but the challenge is having a bigger aspiration for the country. Feeling happy for one Gold compared to none but at the same time don't we all dream to see India in the top 5 Olympics medals list in the next 10 years time? Why not... Let's dream, think share such thoughts to create a collective aspiration for India in the top 5 Olympic medals list by 2031?... thanks Neeraj for replacing the zero against Gold for India... Let our collective Golden thoughts grow bigger...
