Swaram’s fifth edition also featured wonderful performances by Smt Roopa Revathi and her band - an Indian musician, violinist and playback singer from Kerala, Roopa Revathi has had her music featured in many Tamil and Kanada films. ✨🎤 🎼 🎹 In addition, she was the winner of the reality show, Super Star Global, a musical talent hunt.

It was our honour and delight to host her this year at Swaram, and we extend our deepest gratitude to Smt Roopa Revathi and her talented band for accepting our invitation and gracing us with melodious vocals and wonderful tunes 😍

This fifth edition of Swaram - Music Fest saw one of our favourite singers and musicians grace the stage with her melodious voice - Smt Mahathi ✨🎤 🎼 🎹

A popular carnatic musician and playback singer Smt Mahathi also won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for 2 consecutive years in 2008 and 2009.

So, it was our absolute honour and privilege to have Smt Mahathi join us for the evening, and to hear her sing Carnatic fusion and iconic songs from the movies we all know and love - have a look, the audience’s reactions say everything you need to know about her performance 😍 🥰 🤩

Our alumnus has ‘served’ up a wonderful victory indeed! 🏸 😍

Manisha (a student of the Class of 2023) also made the school extremely proud of her achievements at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024 (she won the Bronze Medal in Badminton). 🥉

🌊🌍 Grade 9 Students Explore Sustainability at NCSCM at Anna University!

Our Grade 9 students had an enriching field visit to the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM), Chennai, a prestigious research institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change at Anna University campus and Anna Centenary Library.

They explored the research laboratory, interacted with three brilliant scientists, and gained invaluable insights into sustainable coastal management practices. This hands-on experience inspired them to think critically about protecting our coasts for future generations. They too had an opportunity to visit different sections of Anna Centenary Library which added value to it.
