CODE IIT Madras signs collaboration MoU with Fluid Power Society of India to advance Industry-Integrated Technical Education!

We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CODE IIT Madras and the Fluid Power Society of India (FPSI) to strengthen industry–academia collaboration in skill development, and professional education in fluid power and allied domains.

This partnership aims to create meaningful opportunities for learners through industry-relevant courses, expert lectures, internships, projects, mentorship, certifications, and placement support under the various programs coordinated by CODE IIT Madras, including NPTEL, Web-Enabled MTech Programs, and IITM BS Degree Programs.

As part of this collaboration, FPSI will also be recognized as an NPTEL Industry Associate (NIA) representing the fluid power sector, helping strengthen the national ecosystem for technical education and workforce upskilling.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Shankar Ram C S, Associate Dean, IC & SR, IIT Madras, and Mr. Suresh Kannan V, Joint Secretary, FPSI, in the presence of Prof. Andrew Thangaraj, Chair, CODE IIT Madras, and Mr. S. Hemanth Kumar, National President, FPSI.

This collaboration reflects a shared vision of making high-quality technical education more accessible, industry-aligned, and impactful for learners and professionals across India.

IITM School Connect brings an exciting workshop exclusively for secondary school teachers on “Interactive & Engaging Teaching Methods Through Games & Activities” by Kartic Vaidyanathan, designed to help educators make classrooms more dynamic, participative, and student-friendly.

This workshop will introduce teachers to innovative teaching approaches that use games, activities, and interactive learning techniques to improve student engagement, strengthen conceptual understanding, and create a more lively classroom environment.

CSR Project Apoorva by LatentView Showcases Data Capstones from Government School Students!

Recently, we were invited to be part of the Capstone Showcasing Event under Project Apoorva, the CSR flagship initiative of LatentView Analytics, held at Ayanavaram Government School.

This event marked the culmination of a two month learning journey, where Class 11 students from 10 government schools developed data-driven capstone projects with continuous mentoring from LatentView Analytics’ data analytics volunteers.

The projects showcased were shortlisted through intra-school competitions, making the event a true celebration of student effort, learning, and achievement.

Our collaboration with Latentview has been there from earlier... BS students are currently interning and contributing as data professionals in the making!

This collaboration brings together IIT Madras’ academic and pedagogical leadership with Sarvam’s Indic language AI capabilities and KPOINT’s end to end video and application platform, to enable intelligent, multilingual, and personalized learning experiences across audio, video, and text-based educational content.
