🌟 What an eventful month June has been for Kumon KK Nagar! 🌟

We kicked off with our ASHR celebration on June 7th — a day filled with joy, pride, and recognition for our incredible students and supportive parents.

Soon after, our Chief Instructor, Ms. Janani, travelled to Singapore to share how she has implemented the learning’s gained from the renowned Instructor Teacher Chai. Learning from Teacher Chai of the Henderson Centre, New Zealand, has led to remarkable growth in the key indices that reflect our students’ progress and development.

And just as the month came to a close, Ms. Janani was invited to be the keynote speaker at the Hong Kong Kumon Instructor Conference! She spoke about how Kumon KK Nagar is using Kumon Connect to enhance instruction and strengthen communication with parents — a proud moment for our team!

It’s been a month full of learning, sharing, and growing — and we’re excited for what lies ahead!

At the recent Kumon Europe & Africa Elite Instructor Conference in Cape Town, our centre was represented on the global stage by our Chief Instructor, Ms. Janani. The presentation—rooted in the work we do every day at KK Nagar—was very well received by instructors from across Europe and Africa.

The ideas shared on using Kumon Connect to strengthen communication with students and parents, and to improve instruction with the help of assistants, sparked a lot of interest. Many instructors expressed their appreciation and are eager to take these ideas back to their own centres.

Ms. Janani also had a special moment of recognition when Team KEA surprised her with two celebratory cakes—one to mark her 10-year journey as a Kumon Instructor, and another to recognise her centre’s achievement of having over 500 students learning through Kumon Connect. A sweet and meaningful gesture that made the occasion even more memorable!

It’s a special feeling to see the practices we’ve built together at KK Nagar inspire fellow Kumon instructors around the world. A big thank-you to our students, parents, and team—this moment belongs to all of you. 💙

Easy Peasy Challenge Winners!

In Feb & March, we launched the Easy Peasy contest at Kumon KK Nagar — a simple challenge with a cool reward: do your Kumon worksheets on 50 out of 59 days, and win a customised jute water bottle bag! 🌿💼

We’re thrilled to share that 150+ students met the challenge head-on and qualified! 🥳 And just look at those happy faces, proudly posing with their brand-new bags — each one unique with their name on it.

Perfect timing too — with the summer heat rolling in, carrying a water bottle is a must. And now, there’s no chance of losing it when your name’s stitched right on the bag!

That’s how we like to do things here — fun, thoughtful, and with a dash of creativity.

Nagar Nagar

Wide eyed and cute, Arjun walked into Kumon KK Nagar in May 2018. Little did we know that we were in for a real treat when Arjun enrolled as a student of the English Program! He was outgoing, smart and embraced the challenging worksheets with ease. He loved the stories and passages and would often come up with his own interpretation which would make us smile and wonder if he was really a second grader! Its been 4 years and today he stands before us as a Kumon English Completer! From reading short stories to critique writing, the journey has been arduous, but Arjun has achieved the coveted prize leaving us proud and in awe of him!

It all began with one small shy smile.... Akshaya's enrolment in the Kumon Mathematics Program in June 2016! 5 years later, she is backed by strong concepts and armed with confidence to juggle the toughest of problems.... she is taller, sharper and a confident Kumon Mathematics Completer! Only the sweet shy smile remains....

We are proud of you Akshaya for your grit and determination! Keep up the good work!
