🌿 Commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam 🌿

In remembrance of our Former President of India and the People’s President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, SHN Matriculation Higher Secondary School proudly organized a Tree Planting Program to honor his vision of a Green and Prosperous India. 🌱

As part of this initiative, saplings were planted in our school campus and also distributed to our students to encourage them to plant trees at their homes, nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the environment. 🌳

We were privileged to have Dr. Pasumai Moorthy, State Government Green Champion Awardee, as the Chief Guest of the day, who inaugurated and led the green initiative with his inspiring presence.

🏆✨ 35th Annual Sports Meet – SHN Matriculation Hr. Sec. School ✨🏆

We are delighted to share that our 35th School Annual Sports Meet was successfully celebrated on 15th August 2025 at SDAT Grounds, Chetpet with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. M.S. Nagarajan, Regional Director, Special Olympics, Bharat, New Delhi, who inspired our students with his motivating address and distributed prizes to the winners.

The day was filled with vibrant March Past, Mass Drills, Track & Field Events, and Cultural Displays, showcasing the talent, discipline, and determination of our students.

A heartfelt thanks to our management, staff, students, and parents for their cooperation and support in making this grand event a resounding success.

With immense pride and joy, we successfully celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation on 15th August 2025 at SHN Mat. Hr. Sec. School.

The day began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by inspiring speeches, vibrant cultural performances, patriotic songs, and dances that filled the atmosphere with the true spirit of freedom.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Chief Guest Mr. C. Surendran B.A., Partner, Tile House, Chennai, staff, students, and parents who made this celebration a memorable and patriotic one. Together, we honored the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and renewed our commitment to uphold the values of unity and progress.

We were honored to host Mr. Samaran Thamarai, Humane Education Officer from Blue Cross of India, as our esteemed guest speaker for the Animal Abuse Awareness Hype at SHN Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

The session shed light on:
✅ Animal Welfare – Why every life matters
✅ Animal Birth Control – A humane solution to population control
✅ Roles & Responsibilities of Blue Cross in protecting and caring for animals
✅ Our Duties as Students towards creating a compassionate world for animals
