The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. What can be greater than walking for such a noble cause! The very first of its kind,the Special Walkathon- Walk to defeat the difference was held on 3rd December at Coddisia Grounds. The walkathon was organized by Kaumaram Prashanthi and TIPS joined hands to support this drive to amplify the awareness towards inclusion of people with special needs. The event witnessed a staggering strength of 5000 plus across all age groups.The special feature of this walkathon was that for the first time the Army jawans and CRPF piloted the event. Our TIPSCIANS with the staff members participated in the walkathon with full enthusiasm to ensure the objective was effective and far reaching! The event was not just a celebration of physical endurance but also a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who challenge the stereotypes about disabilities and inspiring the community. TIPSCIANS shall leave no stone unturned to support all social causes that can make a difference in the world. A step words being a truly Global citizen!
