Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Level 5
IELTS Requirement: Overall 5.5 with no less than 5.0 in each section

Duration: 1 year 5 months (3 Semesters)

Eligibility: XIIth (PCB/PCM) or any person with Chemistry Background

Course Overview:
The main topics covered in this programme include the various aspects required of pharmacy technicians in the pharmacy sector. Subjects include an understanding of the
Pharmacy Council Code of Ethics,
Communicating with customers,
Application of the relevant pharmacy legislation and regulations,
Application of an advanced level of knowledge of human anatomy, Physiology and medicine used in the treatment of health disorder
Use of and dispensing medicine services.
Pharmacy Technician is included in the list of skilled occupations that would qualify for points under the Skilled Migrant Category of Immigration New Zealand. (INZ Operational Manual - Appendix 6, Skill Level 2 Qualifications).

This programme is approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority under Section 249 of the Education Act 1989, and Kauri Academy is accredited to provide it under section 250 of the Act.

Employment Pathways include working in a range of dispensary related roles including those in community, hospital, industrial and educational settings in pharmacy.

Students enrolling for Federation University Australia Program at ATMC Melbourne or Sydney Campus in March 2016 intake will be offered Scholarship.

The scholarship is of 1000$ per semester for Melbourne campus which means Total Scholarship Amount for

Master Programme is : 4000$
Bachelor Programme is : 6000$

The scholarship is of 1500$ per semester for Sydney campus which means Total Scholarship Amount for

Master Programme is : 6000$
Bachelor Programme is : 9000$

IELTS requirement for for Masters & Bachelors : Overall 6.0 with 6 bands in each section
Applicants with a score of 5.5 overall not less than 5 in any section will be accepted with 15 weeks Elicos
Applicants with a score of 6 overall and 5.5 in any two section will be accepted with 10 weeks Elicos
Applicants with a score of 6 overall and 5.5 in one section will be accepted with 5 weeks Elicos

Additional Requirements:
Three months Old Funds required
Up to two years GAP can be explained in SOP
Students from CBSE / ICSE background should have 60% marks in core subjects
In case of boards other than CBSE / ICSE it should be 65% in core subjects.
Spouse visa only for students opting for Masters course ( Marriage should be 1.5 years old ) and spouse should be minimum graduate.

L. DIWAKAR ,pursuing masters in Civil Engneering at Leeds Beckett University-UK. The visa process was a very tiring work and I was mentally exhausted many times. But with the support I got from Mr. Vasanth sir, I was able to complete the process. The amount collection was a month long process and I had to run from one bank to another daily. Though it took a lot of time, i was able to finish the visa process with support from both Vasanth sir and Patricia mam.
