Today is the disappearance of Srila Santayana Goswami- one of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan. Srila Sanatana Goswami (1488–1558) was one of the foremost disciples of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, revered as the senior-most among the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan. He was a scholar, saint, and spiritual architect of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, remembered for his renunciation, writings, and rediscovery of Krishna’s sacred places in Vrindavan.
