Dr. R. Gowtham, a youthful and energetic researcher, is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. He completed his Doctorate of Philosophy at the Department of Commerce, College of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, India.
He has received numerous awards, including the International Institute of Organized Research’s Young Researcher Award, for his outstanding contributions to the field of finance, and it should be noted that, at the age of 25, he holds a national record in the India Books of Records category "Maximum Research Papers written and published by an Individual." His work has also been recognized with Best Paper Awards at many national and international conferences organized by a variety of renowned Indian institutions.
Given Mr. R. Gowtham's energy and imaginative mentality, he has been welcomed as a resource person by many renowned institutions throughout India at the tender age of 25. His investigative attitude has also garnered a worldwide audience. He has been asked to appear as a resource speaker at many conferences in the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the United States of America. Mr.R. Gowtham, as a developing young person, is regarded as a mentor and role model by like-minded youngsters and he is continuously motivating people to pursue their goals and achieve success.

On 24th march 2020, A nationwide lockdown was announced and it cost the Indian economy more than 10 lakh crores. One industry that was heavily affected was the milk industry which lost 112.3 crores every single day. There was one company that was able to make a profit during this time, Amul!! .
Amul took a risk to keep the production the same as always as they assumed a change in consumer behavior that other companies did not account for. Unlike other companies,
Amul prepared for a surge in demand for dairy products and just as they assumed, all the Amul products were in high demand among the people. Third party apps like Dunzo, Swiggy, and Zomato were also used to sell over 3 crore Amul products. And thus, Amul's risk had gained them an extra 698 crores during the lockdown.

Biseri is one of the leading companies in India. What did they do to hold the maximum market share in the drinking water industry? Bisleri, apart from packaged drinking water, also launched soft drink hits like Limca, Maaza and Thums up in the 70s to extend their name. The main thing that attracted the audience was there affordable price. However, their pricing was more exclusive and higher in theaters, restaurants and malls.
Bisleri showed innovation in packaging and designing, besides making their products affordable and available. They projected themselves as an exclusive company by sending out promotional slogans like "Har Pani ki bottle bisleri nahi" and "One nation, One water!" They also paired up with the "Vikram" team to promote the movie's poster with every bottle's sticker!

AARAMBH, meaning 'beginning' is an intra-department event for the 1st year BCom marketing management students being conducted on 9th September, 2022.
As Michael Jordan once said, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."
Kotler's quorum aims at giving its fellow juniors a chance to showcase their talents in team and also ease in comfort with their fellow mates creating a good bonding with the department and its people.

What is brand recognition?
Brand recognition is the extent to which a consumer can correctly identify a particular product or service just by viewing the product or service's logo, tag line, packaging or advertising campaign.
In this case, Ford achieved brand recognition by winning the le mans race by beating all odds that were stacked up against them. Ford also had a similar feud with the founder of Tata group, Ratan Tata. When Tata wanted to sell their car division to Ford, Bill Ford humiliated Tata during their meeting, claiming that Tata was bound to fail starting their division of cars. Tata got his revenge after 9 years, when Ford was looking to their Jaguar, essentially saving them from going bankrupt.
