Thanks for the opportunity Saveetha engineering college. For making "Mime - Theatre art " as a subject in the engineering curriculum. The first set of students completed their semester exams today. Thanks to Ms Viji for coming as an external examiner. Thanks to kavas for supporting me through the classes. I wish good luck to all the students.

Happily completed the first batch 10 days of the Acting workshop. Daily it's been lots and lots of learning from each other. Thanks, rose anna for being a part and encouraging us. Thanks to all the participants.Thanks to Sarathy master and Janagi Akka. Sarathy always surprises us with new activities that make us think and Janagi Akka shows her experience in her work and the way she handles the team. Finally, all did a good performance. Soon we shall plan for a show.

What a memorable day it is !!!
Was dreaming to do a show from the day we started constructing this studio.
It's perfectly collaborated with Mugamoodigal team for "Where is justice ? " play. Very strongly performed by Sri devi and Directed by Antony Janagi . Thanks to Sarathi Krishnan Koothupithan master for the music. Thanks for the audience support. Love you all. Thanks to my team Kalyan Kavas Murukanatham .

Mactrics performing arts in collaboration with Mugamoodigal has launched an Intense 10 days Acting workshop.

As a takeaway, a Short Performance video will be recorded.

With heavy heart had to cancel the Mask making workshop that had planned to happen on 9/1/2022. We will surely plan again this workshop once everything is back to normal. Hope parents would understand the situation. Thanks for the cooperation. Stay safe.

Since heavy rainfall forecasted on 2/1/2022(sunday). We are postponing the Mask making workshop to 9/1/2022.I hope you have understood the reason behind the cancellation of this workshop. Through this message, I want to regret any inconvenience which has been caused due to this sudden decision. I have tried my best to inform all of you as soon as I came across the bad weather forecast.

From Ancient Greeks to Spiderman, the masks have travelled a long way from being
used in rituals to ritual drama. The ‘MASK,’ as it is rightly named, masks the original
persona of a person and enables the actors to quickly groove into the character and
helps them to come out of their stage fear.

As parents, don’t we always wonder what’s
running in a kid’s mind? Creative workshops like these will help children to express themselves freely and they
will always cherish what they make with their own hands very dearly. The MASK making
workshop will enhance the creativity of the child where we can see blue elephants,
green turtles and pink giraffes taking forms through them. The varieties of the masks
are numerous and none is exactly alike.

This significant event in their life will influence their cognitive abilities as they grow into a
successful adult. We look forward to seeing your child in the coming season.
