Prof. S. K. Bhattacharyya, Founding Vice Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University Chennai, has been honoured with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIT Kharagpur on the Institute’s Foundation Day, 18 August.

The honour celebrates a distinguished career marked by academic leadership, research and lasting contributions to engineering.

The award was presented by the Director and Chairman, ISRO.

As part of HCL's 50th Anniversary celebrations, Shiv Nadar University Chennai invites its faculty and staff to participate in the Journey to the Moon Challenge.

From 5–9 August, every walk, run, cycle and swim will contribute towards a collective target of 384,000 km—the distance from the Earth to the Moon.
