The Department of Civil Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College successfully organized a Value Added Course on “Advanced Drone Technology” in association with Aqua Forge Robotics Pvt. Ltd. from 05.01.2026 to 09.01.2026 (Offline Mode).
The program provided participants with hands-on exposure and practical insights into the applications of drone technology in engineering fields such as surveying, mapping, monitoring, and infrastructure analysis. The sessions helped students gain valuable technical knowledge and industry-oriented skills.

The 6-Day Faculty Development Program on “Sustainability Trends in Civil Engineering” was successfully conducted from 15-12-2025 to 20-12-2025 at the Department of Civil Engineering, Sri Sairam Engineering College.
The program brought together academicians, researchers, and industry experts to explore innovative and sustainable approaches shaping the future of civil engineering. The sessions were insightful, interactive, and enriched participants with valuable knowledge on sustainable practices and emerging technologies.

The Department of Civil Engineering, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, successfully organized a Distinguished Lecture Programme on “Strong, Durable, Sustainable & Green Concrete Construction.” 🏗️🌱
The session was delivered by Ms. S. Madhubala, Assistant Manager – Direct Sales, JSW Cements Limited, Chennai, who shared valuable industry insights on sustainable construction practices, durable concrete technologies, and the importance of green materials in modern infrastructure development.
The lecture provided students with practical knowledge and exposure to current trends in sustainable concrete construction. We sincerely thank the speaker for her valuable time and for inspiring our students with her expertise.

We successfully organized an Alumni Talk on “Opportunities and Current Trends in Construction Towards Carbon Mitigation” by the Department of Civil Engineering at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College. 🏗️🌱
Our alumna N.K. Akshayah Ramesh, Cost Manager at Rider Levett Bucknall, Amsterdam, Netherlands, shared valuable insights on global construction practices, sustainable development, and strategies for carbon mitigation in the construction industry.
