Today I participated in a panel discussion organised by CII at New Delhi.

"Let us contemplate education to accommodate the requirements of the twenty-first century.

Let us combine past lessons with current and future technology to reshape the education.

Let us empower Students to reflect, gain knowledge, and adapt, regardless of the difficulties that await them tomorrow, and empower them to bring changes in the society."~V Subbiah Bharathi.

Be like a mountain, solid and unwavering. People will look at your peak. But it takes too long for a mountain to form. But it stays long.

I published my first book along with my student of CSE Department.
"The Covid Crisis brings such unsung stories out and points out the flaws in our society supported by statistical data that we have collected. This book would also be beneficial for ordinary people to reflect on India and other nations to explore many elements linked to the control of COVID-19, which is spreading in various places. The COVID-19 epidemic should serve as a wake-up call to all of us. It is a disaster unlike any other that has never occurred before or will ever occur again. We can’t stop hazardous diseases from spreading, but we can plan to mitigate their devastating impact on civilization. One cannot ignore the severity of the current outbreak’s impact on the global economy, and not a single country is immune. But this has had ramifications not only for the economy but also for all areas of society, resulting in profound changes in how firms and consumers interact. Not to mention that it has brought about developments in which individuals have learnt to be self-sufficient rather than being restricted in their efforts to improve their economic standing. This book attempts to address some of society’s pandemic-related challenges. Data on the number of operating locations and events held during lockdown has been studied using news reports and channels. The significant incidents were traced
based on news reports, and those affected due to such occurrences were covered by the Indian data repository built through crowdsourcing means. Coronavirus is the very first pandemic of the twenty-first century in which we have comprehensive knowledge about the mutation and the location of its genesis from the start. With social separation in place, herd immunity is built, and joint effort to develop treatments and a vaccine is ongoing. Let us all work together to rescue the only planet we have.We are fighting this sickness together, and if we stay unified and determined, we will be able to overcome the virus. We
will succeed by combining significant scientific discoveries with our inherent compassion for healing, and all of us will share that success. We should take solace in the fact that, while we still have a long way to go, brighter days will come.”

History is all about glorifying the great leaders and great events. On this day we should remember thousands of unsung heroes who contributed to the freedom struggle. My grandfather was a freedom fighter. He was in prison when my mother was born. I am sure your grandfather or any elderly person in your place would have participated in the freedom struggle. Please take a selfie with them if they are still alive or with their family members and post it on social media.

Also, I am proud to share that the institution where I studied, Hindu college at Tirunelveli has a place in the freedom struggle. During Tirunelveli Riots in 1908 March, students of this institution also joined. My request to you is, if you come to know through your grannies that any place in your Village or town is connected with the freedom struggle, please take a selfie in that place and post it on social media.

That will be a real tribute to those unsung heroes and unaccounted places.
