A session full of creativity, curiosity, and inspiration!
Our Grade 6 & 7 learners interacted with a design expert and explored the journey behind creating reusable pixel art. As he shared the steps involved in bringing an idea to life, learners actively participated, asked insightful questions, and gained a deeper understanding of the design process.
A key takeaway from the session was the importance of staying open to the problems around us—because every meaningful solution begins with noticing a need.

Our Grade 6 & 7 learners launched their Product Design journey by exploring how simple observations can lead to meaningful innovations. From understanding how the need for safer family transportation inspired affordable mobility solutions to experiencing the challenges faced by individuals using prosthetic limbs, learners discovered that great products are born from real human needs.
Through immersive activities, reflection, and discussion, they learned to look beyond products and focus on the people who use them.
Observe deeply
Empathize genuinely
Innovate purposefully
The journey from identifying problems to designing solutions has officially begun!

What if you woke up in the Stone Age and had to survive using only what nature provided?
Our Grade 3 learners stepped into the shoes of hunter-gatherers during the entry event for their new project. As young explorers, they searched the garden for fruits, nuts, tubers, stones, sticks, and leaves—discovering how these natural resources could help them find food, make tools, build shelters, and stay safe.

Every child grows. The real question is, are we growing with them?
At GVK's "Grow With Your Child" Parent Reflection Workshop, parents were given an opportunity to pause, reflect, and rediscover the power of everyday moments that shape a child's future.
Our Academic Director, Mr. Manikandan, shared valuable insights through five key takeaways that can significantly influence a child's growth and development:
Creating an ideal home environment through quality family time
Nurturing healthy food habits
Prioritizing adequate sleep and routines
Strengthening meaningful parent-child interactions
Encouraging children to create more and consume less
Through engaging discussions and self-reflection activities, parents explored how simple, consistent actions at home can foster confidence, creativity, emotional well-being, and lifelong learning.
As we journey alongside our children, we are reminded that growth is not measured by perfection, but by our willingness to learn, adapt, and be present every step of the way.

On 12th & 13th of June, Greenvalley Kriyaalaya International School conducted the iDiscover Parent Workshop for Grades 4–7, led by our mentor, Manikandan Sir.
This session was a continuation of the “Discover Your Child” workshop series, helping parents gain deeper clarity on identifying their child’s interests, strengths, and passions.
Discussions focused on how these strengths can be nurtured and transformed into meaningful contributions to society, future career pathways, entrepreneurial opportunities, or real-world problem-solving.
Parents also explored the various support systems available and how PLP Coordinators can work alongside families to guide each child’s unique learning journey.
