Ecofest'22 was a wonderful gathering of all our students across ten different schools who've been part of our environmental education program. The students shared with each other and those present, the many ways they have come to see the world around them, the problems they perceive and the solutions they stand by.
Stay tuned for all the interesting stories and learning shared by our students!

Ecofest is a year-end exhibition put together by the students of the Schools In Action For The Planet Environmental Education program conducted by Pitchandikulam Forest and supported by Tata Communications Limited.
Students from across 10 schools in Chennai will gather to share what they learned throughout the year with their peers from other schools. Different modes of expression, from artwork to skits to poetry have been chosen by the students themselves to tell their stories.
Join Us on the 26th of this month!

Creating a wall mural with the students of the Government Adidravidar Nala Higher Secondary School in Urapakkam as an exercise in understanding what the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) mean for us as a community!
The Schools In Action program has as its core focus 6 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) put forward by the UN to work towards a sustainable future. Intertwining these goals with on the ground teaching and practice has meant seeing this roadmap towards a better future come to life as the program unfolds!

This World Wildlife Day, we celebrate the many ways students continue to understand and perceive, the common themes of crisis faced by wildlife across different countries and habitats. And most importantly, in alignment with this year's theme of 'recovering key species for ecosystem restoration', to recognize solutions for the issues at hand!
