May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge the quiet ways creativity supports emotional well-being. Created this round tan tile inspired by the warmth and encouragement of the Zentangle® community, with tangles like Marasu, Flux, Crescent Moon, Poke Root, Tipple, Knightsbridge, and Printemps became a peaceful pause in the middle of everyday life.
Art has an incredible ability to support emotional well-being. It encourages mindfulness, reduces mental clutter, and offers a gentle way to process thoughts and emotions. Sometimes, we do not need grand solutions—just a quiet moment with a pen, paper, and permission to breathe.
Materials: 4.5 inches Tan Zendala Tile, Black Micron 01, Brown Micron 01, White Gelly Roll Pen, White Charcoal Pencil, Graphite Pencil, Stub.

A relaxed afternoon, a Renaissance tile, and the comfort of revisiting old tangles — Kuke, Primo(f), Dansk, Crescent Moon, and Pais. Playing with brown and black pens on the warm-toned tile felt both grounding and refreshing. Slowly, the mind quietened and the rhythm returned, one stroke at a time.
The days are still hot, but the evenings now carry a gentle cool breeze. A lovely reminder that gratitude softens life in the same quiet way.
It is gratitude that makes us happy. 🤎

Back home in India after five beautiful weeks across Europe ✨ There’s something so comforting about returning to familiar spaces, my art desk, and mindful moments with pen and paper.
This tile, inspired by Day 11 of Zentangle Project Pack No. 28, features Rixty and Tipple with touches of Pokeleaf and Moonpie in the background. Creating it felt calm, grounding, and joyful—like reconnecting with an old friend.
Travel inspires the soul, but home nurtures it in the gentlest way.
