It was Feb 18th and an as usual day for me. I was checking my WhatsApp messages in-between cooking and saw a message from my co-secretary Shiva of Rotary Club of Vadapalani. He has asked for my profile. I was wondering why he was asking for my profile all of a sudden. But then I thought may be he is going to share my profile for some POSH ( Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace) training assignment. I immediately forwarded my profile and then asked the purpose. He told it's a secret, I have nominated you for Industry Icons Award given by Vijaya Hospital to the women achiever's as part of Women's day celebration. I was very happy and excited to receive this news and already felt as if I have won this award.

Later in the afternoon, I got a message from a new number. It was Mr Immanuel, strategist of this event. He had forwarded me the nomination form and asked me to fill it. It took me some time to ponder upon these questions and give a reasonable response. After submitting the nomination ,I informed Immanuel about the same.

It was march 4th when I received a call from Immanuel, he congratulated me for being selected as awardee among 250 nomination, 60 shortlist and 15 finalists. And the rest is history...
