traditions prescribed for temples, and said those who are not qualified to perform rituals and pujas should not enter the
sanctum sanctorum of temples.

Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh took on CM Mamata Banerjee over her support to the farmer agitation in Delhi, saying that her government was denying benefits to farmers of the state. Speaking to reporters in Erode on Wednesday, Vasan exuded confidence that the AIADMK and its alliance parties will definitely win the polls. “The release of Sasikala will not impact the victory of AIADMK.”

The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) is sending one of its veteran party leaders to do a recce of the Nandigram assembly constituency in East Midnapore district early next month. Nandigram is all set to witness a high-pitched battle in the assembly elections that are round the corner.
