Wishing all the seniors a Happy Senior Citizens Day

The power of sharing a single poster. Thanks to one of our elderAdo member Vani aunty through whom this madam in the picture got our contact. In response to the ElderAdo's drawing competition poster, she texted how excited she was to participate and paint on her canvas. She is in her 80s and lives in a senior citizen facility at Bangalore. I cancelled some of my sessions at IIM Bangalore with a deep regret of having missed the mixer event to visit this home. But was so happy and excited to see the work they do and how happy the residents were. I also came to know the madam in this picture, Ms. Prameela had started the NGO Samadhan in New Delhi in 1980s, it's still functional with able board of directors. This organization works on inclusive education (for children with learning disabilities).
