Our talented III B.Com (A/F) students — K. Varsha, R. Sakthi Roshini, E. Laila, Vignesh Koushik & M. Ruby Monika — made us proud by securing the 🥉 Second Runner-Up position at the Naan Mudhalvan Financial Hackathon Grand Finale conducted by NSE Academy! 🎉

Held on March 20, 2026, at Government Arts and Science College, the event tested participants on Retail Banking & Wealth Management, pushing their financial expertise, strategy, and teamwork to the next level. 📊💡

The students of the Department of Accounting & Finance visited Thangavelu Textile Mills Pvt Ltd, Salem as part of their Industrial Visit, gaining insights into textile production and industrial operations.
The day also included a refreshing trip to Yercaud, where students explored a chocolate factory and enjoyed the beautiful hills.

Participants learned the art of designing beautiful traditional floral Veni, gaining practical skills to support creativity, cultural expression, and potential small-business opportunities. The trainers for the session were Mrs Suganya and Mrs Aarthi, Founders of Wedding Floral Jadai, who encouraged women students to explore skill-based entrepreneurship and transform simple floral crafts into meaningful ventures.🌸

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the NSS Unit of University of Madras’s KRMMC actively participated in a Walkathon and Human Chain programme organized by the Cancer Institute (WIA) to raise awareness about cancer prevention and early detection.

NSS volunteers carried placards, raised awareness slogans, and formed a human chain, spreading an important message on healthy living and collective responsibility in the fight against cancer. 🎗️🚶‍♂️
