ലില്ലിയിലെ കുരുന്നുകളുടെ പരീക്ഷാനുഭവം

ജനറൽ സ്കൂളുകളിൽ പിന്തുടരുന്ന പൊതു പരീക്ഷാ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിന് സമാനമായ ഒരു അനുഭവം നമ്മളുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്കും നൽകുന്നതിനായി ഇന്ന് ലില്ലി സ്പെഷ്യൽ സ്കൂൾ ഒരു പരീക്ഷ സെന്ററായി മാറി

ഇത് പ്രാബല്യത്തിലാക്കുന്നതിനായി, ഫോട്ടോകളുള്ള നെയിം സ്ലിപ്പുകൾ മേശകളിൽ ഒട്ടിച്ചു, ആയതിനാൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ സ്വന്തം സീറ്റുകൾ തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കുട്ടികൾ ബാഗുകളും മറ്റു വസ്തുക്കളും പുറത്ത് സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു, ചോദ്യപേപ്പറുകൾ സീൽ ചെയ്ത കവറുകളിൽ അധ്യാപകർക്ക് നൽകി. വിതരണം ചെയ്ത ചോദ്യപേപ്പറുകൾ അധ്യാപകർ കുട്ടികളുടെ മുൻപിൽ വെച്ച് തുറന്നു. തുടർന്ന് അധ്യാപകരുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെയും മാർഗ്ഗനിർദ്ദേശത്തോടെയും കുട്ടികൾ പരീക്ഷ എഴുതി.

പരീക്ഷ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം, ഉച്ചയോടെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി.

LILLY Celebrates National Doctors’ Day

LILLY Lions, in association with the Lions Club of Chengannur, celebrated National Doctors’ Day on July 1, 2025, with a heartfelt function to honour doctors who have selflessly served the students and families of the school. The event was held at the LILLY campus.

The ceremony was presided over by founding Trustee Lion Dr. K. Dilip Kumar and was formally inaugurated by Trust Chairman Lion Dr. P G R Pillai. Smt Suseela Pillai and Manoj, wife and son of Dr PGR Pillai were also present on the occasion. The event was further graced by District Governor Lion Winny Philip, who attended as the Chief Guest and Second Vice District Governor Lion Martin Francis.

Delivering the Doctors' Day message was Ophthalmologist Dr. Oommen Varghese, Joint Secretary of IMA Kerala Headquarters and Director of Dr. Oommen’s Eye Hospital, whose presence added great value to the celebration.

The program honoured doctors who have been longstanding supporters of LILLY, offering their services free of cost and playing a vital role in the wellbeing of the children. Among the honoured doctors were:

Paediatrician Dr. Reni Gee Varghese and Psychologist Dr. Raji O. S. from Sanjivani Multi Speciality Hospital, Kollakadavu

Homoeo doctors Dr. Nisma K. U. and Dr. Sreelakshmi P. R. from National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health, Kottayam

Ayurveda Dr. Unnimaya Rajeev from Omkar Ayurveda Hospital, Tiruvalla

Ayurveda Dr. Athira G. from Mangunnam Ayurveda Hospital, Budhanoor

Psychiatrist Dr. R. Anilkumar, Trustee of LILLY and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at Josco Hospital, Edappon

Also honoured were doctors who are associated with LILLY - Dr. Surya Achamma Eapen, Dr. Sonia, Dr. Sherly Philip and Dr. Alan Samuel.

Each doctor was also presented with a gift hamper containing products made by LILLY’s vocational training students.

The event was witnessed and supported by managing trustee PDG Lion G Venukumar and distinguished Lion members Idicula Abraham, K. K. Rajendran, M. P. Pratipal, S. Gopinathan, S. Balachandran Nair, K J Thomas, P. C. Chacko, Mohan Gayathri, Benny Philip, Lion T S Gopalakrishnan, Lion Rajan, Lion Latha Dileepkumar and Lion Sandhya Anilkumar

Principal Molly Xavier extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Lion P. D. Shaji, Secretary of Lions Club of Chengannur, proposed the vote of thanks. Students recited the prayer and national anthem. A touching highlight of the event was the felicitation speech delivered by Vijay Daniel, a student from LILLY’s vocational unit, who expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the entire student community.

The celebration stood as a sincere tribute to the healing hands and generous hearts that support the LILLY family, making a lasting difference in the lives of children with special needs. We also thank our Trustees and Club members who have always supported our students.

ഭിന്നശേഷി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും സംയുക്തമായി ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ ദിനാചരണം നടത്തി

ലോക ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ ദിനാചരണത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി ലില്ലിയിലെ 32 കുട്ടികളും 13 സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളും ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ പരിപാടികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.

രാവിലെ എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ 11:30 ന് എൻഎസ്എസിന്റെ ആമുഖ ഗാനത്തോടുകൂടി പരിപാടികൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു.

എൻ എസ് എസ് വോളന്റിയർ അനന്യ സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. എൻഎസ്എസ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർ സുധീർ ബാബു അധ്യക്ഷ പ്രസംഗം നടത്തി. ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ. ഹരി വി എസ് പരിപാടികൾ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

ലില്ലി അക്കാദമിക് ഡയറക്ടർ അജാ സോണി അലക്സാണ്ടർ സ്കൂളിനെകുറിച്ചും സ്കൂളിലെ വിവിധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ ദിനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും സംസാരിച്ചു.

തുടർന്ന് ലില്ലിയിലെ കുട്ടികളും സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളും ചേർന്ന് സംഘ ഗാനം, സംഘനൃത്തം, മൈം, സ്കിറ്റ് എന്നിവ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.

ശേഷം എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ലില്ലിയിലെ കുട്ടികളുടെയും സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളുടെയും വിരലടയാളം പതിപ്പിച്ചുള്ള മരവും ഒരുക്കി. കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ കുട്ടികൾക്കായി മനോഹരമായ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചു.

International Yoga Day at LILLY

LILLY Lions Special School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, underscoring the importance of holistic well-being in children with special needs.

The program was inaugurated by Yogacharya Balakrishnan, esteemed Yoga trainer from S S Pathanjali Yoga Vidyapeetam, Chengannur. The formal ceremony was presided over by Academic Director Aja Soney, with Principal Molly Xavier extending a warm welcome to the gathering.

LILLY Administrator Lion K K Rajendran delivered the Yoga Day message. A captivating Yoga Dance performed by LILLY students was followed by a yoga session jointly led by the Chief Guest Yogacharya Balakrishnan and LILLY’s yoga instructor Manju Sanjeev.

The event was graced by Trustees Lions S Balachandran Nair, S Naushad and S Gopinathan.

As a gesture of appreciation, the students presented the Chief Guest with a framed photograph of him alongside LILLY students. An appreciation memento was also presented to Ms. Manju Sanjeev in recognition of her committed yoga training.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by vocational student Adarsh P Pillai, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the celebration.

Vayanadinam at LILLY Lions
June 19, 2025

LILLY Lions observed Vayanadinam (National Reading Day) with great enthusiasm and dignity, celebrating the spirit of reading in all its forms. The grand event was attended by students, staff, parents and dignitaries.

The highlight of the day was the presence of renowned poet and lyricist Sri K. Rajagopal, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The program began with a warm introduction by Principal Molly Xavier, followed by a video display of LILLY theme song, penned by Sri Rajagopal himself.

The Chief Guest then ceremonially lit the lamp and inaugurated the day’s events. In his inspiring inaugural address, Sri Rajagopal spoke about the broader meaning of reading—beyond books and printed words. He emphasized the importance of learning to read nature, emotions and fellow human beings.

Following his address, Sri Rajagopal unveiled the handwritten magazine, Mash*thandu (മഷിത്തണ്ട്) created by the students and staff of LILLY, appreciating their creativity and effort. Students also participated in a hands-on activity titled ‘Aksharamaram’, where they wrote letters and messages on a hand-drawn tree crafted by LILLY staff.

A lively quiz competition for special school students and vocational trainees added an element of fun and learning to the day. Winners were awarded prizes by the Chief Guest and the school’s trustees.

The event was presided over by HR Manager Lekshmy Rajendran, with Academic Director Aja Soney extending a warm welcome and Manager Sudheesh Kumar delivering the vote of thanks. The program was also graced by LILLY Trustees and Lions K K Rajendran, M P Prathipal, S Naushad, S Gopinathan, and K J Thomas.

As a token of gratitude, students presented Sri K. Rajagopal with a framed photograph of the inauguration ceremony. He made a generous contribution to support LILLY’s mission. The celebrations came to a close by 11:30 AM.

2025 മെയ് 28 ലില്ലി പിടിഎ പൊതുയോഗം

ഈ അധ്യയന പക്ഷത്തെ പിടിഎയുടെ പ്രഥമ യോഗം രാവിലെ 10.30ന് ലില്ലി സ്കൂളിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു. അക്കാദമിക് ഡയറക്ടർ അജ സോണി അധ്യക്ഷയായ യോഗത്തിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ മോളി സേവ്യർ സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു.

സ്കൂളിൽ പുതുതായി അഡ്മിഷൻ എടുത്ത വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ രക്ഷിതാക്കൾ സ്വയം പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി.

അധ്യക്ഷ പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ ലില്ലിയുടെ അവധിക്കാല പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അക്കാദമിക് ഡയറക്ടർ വിശദീകരിച്ചു.

വേനൽ അവധിക്ക് ലില്ലിയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ മെയ് 5 മുതൽ മെയ് 9 വരെ നടത്തിയ സ്‌കിൽ ട്രെയിനിംഗ് ക്യാമ്പിൻ്റെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ വീഡിയോ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഒപ്പം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി നടത്തിയ മെഡിക്കൽ ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ വീഡിയോയും പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചു.

സ്കൂൾ വികസന പദ്ധതികൾ ആവിഷ്കരിക്കുന്നതിനായി മാനേജ്മെൻ്റും സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളും മധുരയിലെ വിവിധ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഈ സന്ദർശനത്തിൻ്റെ വീഡിയോയും പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചു.

സ്കൂളിൽ പുതുതായി ജോയിൻ ചെയ്ത അദ്ധ്യാപകരേയും യോഗത്തിൽ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി.

ഈ വരുന്ന അധ്യയനവർത്തിൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് നൽകുന്ന പഠനം തെറാപ്പി പാഠ്യേയതര പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ മോളി സേവ്യർ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. സ്കൂൾ ട്രാൻസ്പോർട്ട് സംവിധാനം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിൻ്റെ ഫീസ് അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

സ്കൂൾ ബസ്സുകളുടെ റൂട്ട് , സമയം എന്നിവ ഷിബിൻ സർ അറിയിച്ചു.

സ്കൂൾ മാനേജിംഗ് ട്രസ്റ്റീ വേണുകുമാർ സാറ് സ്കൂളിൻ്റെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും, വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ കഴിവുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തി അവർക്ക് പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നതും, സ്പോർട്സ് ഡാൻസ് മ്യൂസിക് എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിവിധ പരിശീലനങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നത, മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ അവരെ പങ്കെടുപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും വിശദമായി സംസാരിച്ചു. സ്കൂൾ ക്യാമ്പസ്സ് വിപുലീകരിക്കുന്നത് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. സ്കൂൾ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് എല്ലാ രക്ഷിതാക്കളുടെയും സഹകരണവും പിന്തുണയും അദ്ദേഹം അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചു.

LILLY Lions and Lions Club of Chengannur Jointly Celebrate World Environment Day

LILLY Lions, in association with the Lions Club of Chengannur, celebrated World Environment Day today at the LILLY campus with a series of activities.

Lion Junie V Thomas, President of the Lions Club of Chengannur, inaugurated the event by handing over a fruit tree sapling to LILLY Special Educator Smt. Joshny C. Jose, marking the launch of this year’s Environment Day initiatives. As part of the celebration, students were gifted seed packets to encourage home gardening and environmental responsibility.

In the formal function attended by Managing Trustee PDG Lion G Venukumar and presided over by trustee and Lions Secretary Lion K.K. Rajendran, Principal Smt. Molly Xavier welcomed the gathering and manager Sri. Sudheesh Kumar delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the Lions Club’s continued support and presence. Lions S Naushad, Shaji P D and S. Gopinathan also graced the occasion with their presence.

Following the formal function, Lions members, students and staff together planted saplings in the LILLY compound. The students also prepared posters conveying Environment Day messages, showcasing their creativity and awareness.

The event was a wonderful blend of education, action and community spirit, reminding everyone of the importance of living in harmony with nature.

ലില്ലി ലയൺസ് സ്പെഷ്യൽ സ്കൂൾ ആൻഡ് വൊക്കേഷണൽ ട്രെയിനിംഗ് സെന്ററിന്റെ പ്രവേശനോത്സവം പുലിയൂർ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ശ്രീ. എം ജി ശ്രീകുമാർ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

പൊതു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മേഖലയിലും സവിശേഷ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തും വിപ്ലവകരമായ മുന്നേറ്റമാണ് കേരളം നടപ്പാക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് ഉദ്ഘാടന പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് പറഞ്ഞു. കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ഭിന്നശേഷി വിദ്യാലയമാണ് ലില്ലി എന്നും സ്കൂളിന് പഞ്ചായത്തിൻ്റെ എല്ലാ പിന്തുണയും വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

Medical Camp at LILLY

As part of our commitment to community outreach, LILLY Lions organises an annual medical and counseling camp specifically designed for children with intellectual challenges. Held around the beginning of our academic year, this camp offers the community a chance to understand the services we provide.

The free Medical Camp for children aged 3 to 15 years with intellectual developmental challenges was organized at the LILLY Campus on May 21. The camp was formally inaugurated by Trustee Lion S Naushad, with Managing Trustee Lion G Venukumar presiding over the function.

Medical consultations commenced at 10:45 AM. Pediatrician Dr. Renee Gee Varghese and Clinical Psychologist Dr. Raji O. S. from Sanjivani Multi Speciality Hospital, Kollakadavu, provided expert care and guidance.

Dr. Athira G., proprietor of Mankunnam Ayurveda & Yoga Clinic, Budhanoor, also extended her services. In addition, Homoeopathy doctors from NHRIMH conducted their scheduled monthly consultations.

A total of 21 students, accompanied by their parents, benefited from the camp. All consultations were completed by 2 PM, marking the successful completion of yet another community-focused initiative by LILLY.

LILLY Skill Training Camp
May 8, 2025

The fourth day of the LILLY Skill Training Camp began with a formal session graced by LILLY Trustee PDG Lion Rajan Daniel as the Chief Guest. He offered his wishes and blessings to our students.

The session was presided over by Trustee Lion S. Naushad and attended by Administrator Lion K. K. Rajendran. Principal Molly Xavier delivered the welcome address and Manager Sudheesh Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.

As part of the day's camp activities, students participated in horticulture and clay modeling sessions.

The day’s programs concluded at 3:30 PM.

LILLY Skill Training Camp
May 9, 2025 – Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of LILLY's Camp was held on May 9 at 3:00 PM. The event was inaugurated by District Governor Lion R. Venkitachalam.

The formal function was presided over by Managing Trustee PDG Lion G. Venukumar. Administrator Lion K. K. Rajendran and Trustees Lion K. R. Sadasivan Nair, Lion S. Naushad, Lion S. Gopinathan, and Lion K. J. Thomas were also present.

Academic Director Aja Soney delivered the welcome address. Principal Molly Xavier presented a detailed report summarising the five-day camp, highlighting the activities conducted and the objectives achieved through the students’ participation. She also presented gifts to the four student teams which actively took part in the final day's activities.

Manager Sudheesh Kumar presented a video summarising the skill training activities of our students. On behalf of the students, Anju Mariam gave a brief feedback about the camp and special educator Sreelekshmi Divakaran spoke about her experience as part of the organising team.

The camp’s final activity was a fireless cooking session, in which students enthusiastically prepared simple dishes under the guidance of their teachers and therapists.

In his concluding remarks, Managing Trustee Lion G. Venukumar expressed his appreciation for the well-organised camp. He commended the efforts of both students and teachers and noted that the management was proud and grateful that the camp had successfully met its goal of providing extracurricular training for LILLY students.

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide personalised training to our students based on their individual aptitudes and skills. The students thoroughly enjoyed the camp experience. LILLY Skill Training Camp

The third day of the LILLY Skill Training Camp commenced at 10:15 AM. LILLY Trustee and founder of Deepam Foundation, Lion Jayasree Devi, attended the camp as the Chief Guest.

Principal Molly Xavier welcomed the guests to a brief formal session, which was presided over by Trustee Lion S. Gopinathan and attended by Managing Trustee PDG Lion G. Venukumar and Executive Trustee Lion K. R. Sadasivan Nair. Lion K. J. Thomas also visited LILLY during the camp hours.

As a generous gesture, Lion Jayasree Devi donated a new set of sports T-shirts for LILLY students. Previously, students were divided into three sports houses, each identified by a different T-shirt color. With the growing number of students, a fourth house has now been introduced. The newly donated orange T-shirts will represent this additional group.

The day’s activities began with a warm-up session, followed by keyboard practice, Zumba dance, papercraft, paper flower making, and coloring.

The day's programs concluded at 3:30 PM.
