Associate Professor Naama Shalom is a renowned scholar of classical Indian studies. Earlier this month, her book, The Classical Literary Pillars of Great India, was launched at the Indian Cultural Centre in Tel Aviv. Speakers at the event included Ambassador JP Singh,
Prof. Yohanan Grinshpon from Hebrew University, Prof. Dr. Arik Moran from the University of Haifa, & Prof. Sivan Arzony from Bar Ilan University.

Prof. Shalom’s book distinguishes itself through Hebrew translations of Sanskrit sources, enabling readers to engage closely with primary texts spanning India's classical period to the modern era.

On Wednesday, October 15th, the Shiv Nadar School of Law was visited by Mr. P Sainath, a nationally and globally renowned journalist and authority on rural India. He spoke on his book chapter titled ‘The Top Court and the Troubled Countryside’, which is included in the book' [In]complete Justice? The Supreme Court at 75', edited by Justice S Muralidhar.
