All this comes only if you code to create something and not for submitting assignments.

You aren't gonna need it" or "YAGNI" is a principle which arose from extreme programming (XP) that states a programmer should not add functionality until deemed necessary. Do you agree? πŸ–

After a long hiatus, finally I have started a hobby project that I was intending to do - FM Radio using TEA5767 module interfaced with Arduino Uno. What you see here is the downloaded project that I have used. The base project is from here: https://electropeak.com/learn/interfacing-tea5767-fm-radio-module-with-arduino/

I have plans to add FM tuner knob/buttons, FM station hopping buttons, LCD/LED display and integration with speakers with volume control.

I was standing on our terrace because there was no signal reception inside the house. The setup is place on our water tank.

Several years ago when I was teaching and mentoring wannabe programmers and developers, I used to show this particular Garfield strip to them to make them understand what coding should be all about.

Do the hard work in the beginning and make it stable so that it doesn't need mindless rework later when change requirements come knocking on your door. Initial requirements are never the complete ones. Any seasoned developer will know this.

So, read this short blog and try to understand the concept of "working hard to be lazy". I would say that the concept of automation has been probably taken seed from the idea of working less manually by working hard to create a system that replaces human labour. Think about this.

Have a nice weekend.
