When the Sun entered the 14th degree of Sidereal Ta**us, the Great Indian Monsoon struck Kerala ( Edava Pathi, Kala Varsha ). Sun's total Longitude was 44 degrees then.

When Sun entered 53 degree 20 minutes ( Mriga Sira ), Makeeryam Njattuvela was initiated. And when the Sun entered 66 degrees 40 minutes of the Zodiac, at 0538 PM, on, 220617, the famous Aridra Solar Transit.started.

Njayar means Sun and Vela means periods and so Njattuvelas mean the periods of the Sun. The Sun initiates the Four Seasons of the West and the Six Seasons of India.
