DIS celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with purpose and passion.
Our students participated in poster making, upcycling waste into planters, and a plantation drive — learning the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Every chart, every plant, every smile carried one message: Inspired by nature, for our future.
We’re not just teaching lessons, we’re raising eco-warriors 🌱

Students of DIS Lead Anti-Tobacco Awareness Rally
The streets echoed with determination as students of DIS, stepped out with a mission — to fight the to***co menace and spread awareness about its deadly consequences.
Holding handmade posters with powerful slogans like _“Smoking is a Slow Poison,” “Choose Life, Not Tobacco,” “Tobacco is a Slow Poison Enough to Kill Your Life,” these young changemakers became the voice of a healthier tomorrow.
From primary wing students to senior classes, every child participated with unmatched enthusiasm. Their eyes reflected seriousness beyond their years — a clear understanding that to***co doesn’t just harm the user, but destroys families and futures.
The rally, organized as part of the school’s health awareness initiative, aimed to educate shopkeepers, parents, and the community about the risks of smoking and to***co use. Standing in front of local shops, the students peacefully conveyed that real strength lies in saying _NO_.
The school administration and teachers guided the rally, ensuring discipline while letting the students lead from the front. The community responded with appreciation, with many stopping to read the posters and applaud the effort.

This was not just a rally. It was a reminder that awareness begins young, and when children speak, the world should listen.

At D.I.S. Maraog, Mother’s Day wasn’t just marked on the calendar—it was felt in every cut, fold, and handwritten message across the classroom. Students poured their creativity into handmade greeting cards, each one a personal tribute to the mothers who shape their lives.
More than just an art activity, this celebration was about teaching gratitude through action—reminding young minds that love is expressed in effort, time, and thoughtfulness. The smiles, the colors, and the heartfelt messages all came together to create a space where appreciation took tangible form.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers from the students and staff of D.I.S. Maraog!

Dev International School marked Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti with a meaningful tribute that brought together literature, art, and reflection, staying true to Gurudev’s vision of holistic education.

The celebration opened with a documentary on Rabindranath Tagore’s life, offering students a glimpse into his multifaceted journey — from becoming the first non-European Nobel laureate in Literature.

The centerpiece of the event was a student-created bulletin board that showcased both artistic effort and literary appreciation. Hand-drawn portraits of Tagore sat alongside illustrations of his seminal works including Gitanjali, The Home and the World, and Stray Birds.

The event served as more than a commemoration. It was a reminder to the school community that education should nurture imagination, moral courage, and lifelong curiosity — values Tagore lived by and advocated throughout his life.

🌍 Earth Day 2026 | Our Power, Our Planet 🌱
This year’s Earth Day @ DIS was a beautiful reminder that change starts young and grows with every small action.
From colorful handprint art to thoughtful posters and heartfelt messages, our students poured their creativity into celebrating and protecting the only home we have.
Our bulletin board became a canvas of hope, with artwork showing the contrast between a polluted world and a green, thriving one — a gentle but clear message that the future is in our hands.
Little hands carefully coloring the Earth, students proudly holding up their 'Earth Day' handprints, and presenting drawings that compare 'Our Power' with 'Our Planet.'
It wasn’t just an activity; it was a lesson in responsibility, care, and creativity.
These drawings are more than art — they are a promise from the next generation to nurture, protect, and respect the Earth.
Let’s carry this spirit beyond April 22nd.
Every day is Earth Day when we choose to act with intention.
💚🌳
