Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Chrari-Sharief under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority, celebrated International Labour Day at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School,Chrari-Sharief, today on 1st of May, 2024. The event was held under the directions & guidance of Mr.Jahangir Ahmed Bakshi, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Budgam and Ms. Fakhur-Un-Nissa, Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Chrari-Sharief.

Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Mr. Waseem Rasool in his address highlighted the importance of International Labour Day. He said, we should ensure that we take care of labour's wellbeing regularly and listen to their issues. He enunciated the participants about various acts, and apprised participants about schemes available for labours in different Govt. departments and urges participants to educate their parents as well as locals about the acts and schemes available for them.

Mr Javid Ah(Lec. Pol. Science) threw light on the historical background of Labour Day.
Mr. Peer Muhammad Iqbal, vice principal of the institution,offered the vote of thanks. He went beyond a simple thank you, incorporating an Islamic perspective on the duties & responsibilties and the fair treatment of workers.

The event was attended by Mr. Manzoor Ahmad, Principal Govt. Boys Higher Secondary, School, Chrari-Sharief, Staff members & Students of the School and PLVs of TLSC Chrari-Sharief.

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Due to the ongoing inclement weather and heavy rainfall, we urge all students residing in the outskirts of Charari Sharief, including Kanidajan, Zinpanchal, Tilsara, Rahkaye, Hanwar, Batapora, Bage Alamkoot, Sarfakhudan, Nowhard, and Wazabagh, to remain at home as a precautionary measure today on 29/04/2024.

Additionally, we advise all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) of schools falling under the cluster head BHSS Charari Sharief to closely monitor the situation and weather conditions. Please take necessary steps promptly and ensure the safety and well-being of our students without any delay.
