Honored to receive the 7th PEFI National Award for Best College for our exceptional contributions to Physical Education and Sports for 2023-24! 🏅 The award ceremony, hosted by the Physical Education Foundation of India under the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, took place at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi.

We were honoured to have Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Hon'ble MP of Thiruvananthapuram, on our campus to inaugurate the year-long 75th Jubilee celebrations of Assumption College. The event featured inspiring speeches from Dr. Tharoor and other distinguished guests, and was graced by the presence of former faculty, current staff, and students. It was a proud moment, reflecting Assumption College's legacy of excellence and its remarkable journey through the years.

We were honored to host a delegation of 51 Italian students from Cassina de Pecchi, Milan, for a cultural exchange program. Our "Keraleeyam" initiative provided a unique glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage, and the students' vibrant cultural performances left a lasting impression on our campus. Such exchanges foster global understanding and appreciation.

Thrilled to announce that Assumption College Autonomous, Changanassery, has secured the Best Performer Award (Second Prize) in the category of Arts and Science Colleges under Zone 7 (Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep) for our outstanding events during National Space Day 2024.

Our students received the award from the Honourable Minister Shri Suresh Gopi at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram, on 18th August 2024. 🌟🚀
