Taking into consideration the state of Corona virus outbreak worldwide and as per the directives & recommendations of Indian Government & French Embassy, as a precautionary measure, our Executive committee has decided to close Alliance Française de Chandigarh tomorrow i.e. 14th March 2020 onward until further notice.

This is to inform you that call for applications for the below mentioned Charpak programmes is now open.



CHARPAK LAB SCHOLARSHIP



The students enrolled in an Indian institution at the Bachelor’s or Master’s levels, planning to undertake a training / research project at a French laboratory or university during their academic break (May to July) are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is offered for a maximum duration of 2 months and covers the following benefits:

· Social security

· Student visa and Etudes en France fee waiver

· Monthly stipend for maximum 3 months (between May and July) provided by the Embassy of France in India

800 euros (for institutions/laboratories situated in Paris)

650 euros (for institutions/laboratories situated outside of Paris)



The students must submit their application on the online scholarship portal http://ifi.scholarship.ifindia.in/. The last date for submitting the applications is Friday, 06th March 2020



CHARPAK MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP

The students or professionals who want to pursue one or two years of studies in France at the Master’s degree level are eligible to apply for the scholarship. There are two kinds of scholarships offered at Master’s level based on merit.

1. Charpak AME Scholarship (Allocation Mensuelle d’Entretien)

Living allowance of 700 euros
Student visa and Etudes en France fee waiver
Tuition fee waiver upto 5000 euros
Assistance to find affordable student accommodation (priority access to CROUS residencies, subject to availability)
2. Travel Grant

One-way air ticket in economy class from India to France
Student visa and Etudes en France fee waiver
Social security
The interested candidates must submit their application on the online scholarship portal http://ifi.scholarship.ifindia.in/. The last date for submitting the applications is Friday, 17th April 2020
