On 10 February 2026, a spiritual Havan Ceremony was conducted to seek divine blessings for the students of Classes X and XII as they prepare for their forthcoming CBSE Board Examinations. The sacred ritual was attended by the Director, Ms. Rachna Mahajan, the Principal, Dr. Seema Biji, and the Headmistress, Ms. Sonia Bhardwaj, who collectively invoked prayers for the students’ success, well-being, and inner strength.
The serene and spiritually charged atmosphere instilled a deep sense of calm and positivity among the students, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also moral and spiritual values.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Rachna Mahajan, Director, shared words of wisdom and inspiration, encouraging students to face challenges with resilience, integrity, and confidence. She emphasised the importance of maintaining a balanced approach to life, blending academic pursuits with personal growth and strong values. Her heartfelt blessings and motivating words deeply inspired the students.
The Principal, Dr. Seema Biji, also extended her blessings and shared valuable guidance, motivating students to approach their board examinations with clarity, confidence, and a positive mindset. She highlighted the importance of hard work, discipline, and perseverance in achieving success.
Following the Havan Ceremony, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the Student Council members in recognition of their leadership and dedication throughout the academic year. In addition, special awards were presented under categories such as Best Artists, Outstanding Performers, and Shining Stars, celebrating the diverse talents and achievements of the students.

The school organised a Farewell Celebration for the students of Class XII on 7 February 2026, warmly hosted by the students of Class XI. The occasion was marked by a vibrant cultural programme featuring music, dance, and entertaining performances, creating an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm, and celebration.
A major highlight of the event was the conferring of twelve special titles in recognition of students’ unique qualities and personalities. The awardees were:

The students of Class XII fondly shared their memories, experiences, and moments spent at school, making the farewell both emotional and memorable. The day was filled with laughter, bonding, and heartfelt moments, leaving everyone with cherished memories.

It is a moment of great pride and honour for our institution as our respected Principal, Dr. Sema Biji, was conferred with an Award of Honour by Jat Sabha (Chandigarh, Panchkula & Katra) on the occasion of the 145th Birth Anniversary of Deen Bandhu Sir Chhoti Ram and Basant Panchmi.

Adding to this joyful achievement, our talented students Priyanshi (Class VII) and Manvi (Class V) brought laurels to the school by securing 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the Poster Making Competition held earlier.

Continuing its long-standing tradition of selfless service, Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School proudly hosted its annual Blood Donation Camp on January 17, 2026, in honour of its visionary founder—Late Sh. Hardayal Mahajan , whose enduring values continue to guide the institution.
The event, organised in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh, witnessed a remarkable response, with an impressive 100 units of blood collected, reflecting the school community’s unwavering commitment to societal welfare and humanitarian service.
The donors included school alumni, many of whom returned to their alma mater specifically to contribute to the noble cause; parents and staff, who stood in long queues to donate; and local residents, with enthusiastic participation from the Sector 27 community.
The Blood Donation Camp and Health check up camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Babla, Mayor, Municipal Corporation and Mr. Jitender Pal Singh Malhotra, Chairman, Standing Committee of Education, Chandigarh, underscoring the school’s holistic approach to community health and well-being.
The authorities from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, lauded the initiative as a meaningful contribution to healthcare services, emphasizing that the collected blood would play a critical role in saving lives.
The NCC cadets and NSS volunteers played a pivotal role in the success of the event. Several of them came forward to donate blood themselves, setting a powerful example of leadership, courage, and social responsibility.
All donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation.
Under the able guidance of Ms. Rachna Mahajan, Director, Principal Dr. Seema Biji, and Headmistress Ms. Sonia Bhardwaj, the event was executed seamlessly. Their collective vision and dedication, supported by the enthusiastic involvement of teachers, staff, and students, created a truly inspiring atmosphere. Students actively motivated donors, encouraging participation not only from the school fraternity but also from the wider public. The collaboration with HDFC Bank further strengthened the initiative by extending vital support.
