GMHS-12 Celebrated Shiksha Saptah Day 07, Community Involvement Day under the campaign and "Tithi Bhojan”. Parents and Students were made aware about through lecture poster making activities and organized a "Tithi Bhoj"

Trees, often referred to as the lungs of our planet, play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance and sustaining life. Trees play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem and combating climate change. Tree Plantation drive carried out at GMHS-12 with the collaboration of Environment Department of Chandigarh. Chief guest was Shri Navneet Kumar Shrivastava IFS additional Director , department of Environment Chandigarh. Initiative was taken by his team members Dr Rupali Senior project associate Department of Environment climate change cell, Ms Charul Senior project associate Department of Environment climate change cell, and Mr Nihal project associate Department of Environment climate change cell. Besides tree plantation, other activities organized were : Poster making, slogan writing, Rangoli, Rally and poetry recitation. Prizes were distributed among winners by the worthy chief guest.
