VHS MUN 2018

VHSMUN 2016. With the theme; Zendagi Migzara’ which means Life Goes On, the conference was an enthralling experience for all. Various committees with their scintillating debates, the Delegate Dinner and the coordination between all the departments, helped make VHSMUN’16 one of the most memorable conferences in the minds of many people. UNGA, UNHRC, UNSC, AIPPM were some of the committees present along with a Joint Crisis Committee. Through these, not only did we wish to kindle a sense of responsibility and unity in the delegates but also highlight the importance of perseverance and of never giving up, despite all odds. Delegations from numerous places attended the conference and were more than satisfied with the organisation, debating level, food and hospitality.

Since its inception in 2010, VHSMUN has offered its delegates an unrivaled Model UN experience by running highly-personalized, engaging and dynamic committees.
With this zeal and determination, We hope to offer the best committees which will set a benchmark in the circuit for years to come.

VHS MUN 2014 – ‘DUM SPIRO, SPERO’
A thousand memories made, a hundred new bonds formed, a lifetime of knowledge gained, all due to one reason- Vivek High School Model United Nations Conference 2014. Throughout the conference, we were able to tread fearlessly on the mountain of ‘HOPE’ during VHSMUN 2014, with the theme ‘Dum Spiro, Spero’. Our motive was not only to kindle a sense of responsibility in the delegates but to also light the flambeau of peace and unity. The conference hosted delegations from Bangladesh and Dubai, and individual delegates from Germany, Australia and South Africa besides all parts of India. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all who came, declaring the conference logistics, food and debating levels par excellence, hospitality being the best part of the conference.

We are inhabitants of a universe where the sky is the limit, a universe which is perplexing and enigmatic with its numerous mysteries and ambiguity. Juxtaposed to this is the present world which is coming closer each day, breaking all traditional barriers with influx of new ideas and revolutionary thinking. Where there is oneness there is bound to be more power in judgment, great glory in achievement, and more ebullience in personality. It is through oneness that humanity can reach the apex of prosperity. When we lose oneness, we lose the very edifice of our construction.
It is in this spirit that Vivek High School brings to you the fifth edition of Vivek High School International Model United Nations. This conference endeavors to help the delegates achieve a deeper understanding of world issues, combat complexity in policy, design new structures for a better world and work in solidarity to bring solutions to the problems that plague humanity today.
