It's a special day . . . . my kids are happy just to have a holiday from school, while for me, this day holds is very special . . . it is one day when I muster up the courage to tell you, Sir . . . Thank you for everything . . .Thank you for all the patience you showed with me . . . Thank you for encouraging me to improve . . .
Words are not enough, Sir, to convey my respect and gratitude for you, and after almost 20 years, I today felt like sharing with you that when we went to conferences, it used to be a status symbol to be "Dr Sivapathasundharm's student". Thank you, Sir, for accepting me as your student and shaping me into what I became.
Recently, as I held out the Dental Histology book written by you in the class I was taking and proudly declared that this is my Sir, I could see the awe in the eyes of the students. I am always proud to be your student, Sir.
