Stepping Stones School, Sector 37-D, Chandigarh, proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour, inspiring performances and a strong spirit of unity.

From the NCC Parade and Nukkad Natak to soulful musical performances, Giddha and energetic dances, our students brought the essence of patriotism to life. 🇮🇳

The celebration was a beautiful reminder that freedom comes with responsibility and that every young citizen has a role to play in building a stronger, kinder and better India.

Young India Culinary Championship 2026–27

Our school organised the Young India Culinary Championship 2026–27 for students of Classes VI to VIII as part of a non-fire cooking activity.

Students explored their creativity and culinary skills by preparing vegetable salads, fruit salads and desserts. The activity encouraged students to learn about healthy eating, nutrition, hygiene, food safety and cleanliness while developing teamwork, confidence and presentation skills.

It was a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience that encouraged our young chefs to appreciate healthy and creative food preparation.

At Credence V, organised by Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh:
🏆 Devansh (Class VI) secured Second Position in Hindi Katha Vacha.
🥉 Our vibrant Giddha Team earned Third Position, showcasing exceptional teamwork and cultural brilliance.

At The Heritage Day and Vanmahotsava 2026, organised by St. John's:
🥇 Diya Gupta (VII-A) and Harnav (VII-A) secured First Position in Book Cover Design.
🥇 Shiny (VIII-B) and Srishti (VIII-I) won First Position in Rangoli Making.

Stepping Stones School, in collaboration with Karuna Eco Companions Foundation under the Mission Rabies initiative, organized an engaging Rabies Awareness Session to educate students about rabies prevention, dog bite safety, responsible pet ownership, first aid, and the importance of timely vaccination.

Through interactive learning and expert guidance, students discovered how knowledge, empathy, and responsible actions can help create a safer community for both people and animals.

🌿 Van Mahotsav 2026 | 🌳

A greener future begins with small steps, and this week, our students took many of them.

Our Van Mahotsav celebrations were filled with creative Eco Club activities, engaging classroom challenges, seed ball making, heartfelt letters to future trees, and a joyful tree plantation drive. Every activity encouraged students to connect with nature and understand the importance of protecting our environment.

Watching our students learn, participate, and proudly plant trees was a beautiful reminder that today's young minds are tomorrow's guardians of the environment.
