CIS Bench at Chitkara International School, Chandigarh, is set to conduct an immersive session titled “Diplomacy Lab: Drafting a Resolution in Crisis” for students of Grades 7 to 12. The session aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of diplomacy, negotiation, deliberation, and international decision-making while providing them with an opportunity to engage with a simulated crisis situation. Through this experiential learning initiative, students will step into the roles of delegates and explore how diplomatic discussions can be transformed into meaningful resolutions. Chicklets (Playway) learners explore pre-writing skills through “Tracing Patterns on the Floor” at Chitkara International School

Chitkara International School conducted a creative and interactive pre-writing activity, “Tracing Patterns on the Floor”, for the Chicklets (Playway) learners. A pattern was drawn on the floor, and the children were encouraged to carefully follow the pathway by placing colourful pom-poms and blocks along the drawn lines. The activity provided a hands-on opportunity for children to observe patterns, follow directions, and develop focus and precision. It supported the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, visual tracking, concentration, and pattern-following abilities. Through movement and active exploration, the learners also developed an understanding of pathways and patterns in an enjoyable and meaningful way. The activity also encouraged spatial awareness and cognitive engagement, as children had to identify the direction of the pattern, anticipate the next movement, and position each object carefully along the pathway.
