Everyday reading Newspaper paper begins by reading about some crime committed the previous day. At times some stories brings smile on your face. Yesterday read about a girl who used to beg on roads of Dharamshala along with her mother becoming a doctor thanks to a charitable trust which adopted her in school hostel. Today read the story of a Dalit woman from Pune, who grew up in a small house, faced some caste discrimination at her native village became a collective lecturer moved to UK on scholarship and then to USA and is now a research Professor in US university.She has been awarded MacArthur Genius Fellowship of 8 lac dollars ( 64 crore rupees) for research.I hope it inspires some others

Perceptions can be completely wrong. I believed that SC in Punjab are much better off in comparison to other states.However going through data given in Indian express realised I was wrong. Data of 5 states mentioned in the article shows that number of Graduates per 10000 of their population are 420 in Andhra,417 in Tamil Nadu 513 in Maharashtra 179 in Punjab and only 97 in Bihar.Even all India is much higher at 409

ਸਮੂਹ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 140 ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਲਿਸਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਗੀ ਸਟੇਅ ਦੀ ਪੈਰਵਾਈ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਡਾ. ਜਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਰੁਣ ਗੋਇਲ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਗਲੀ ਵਿਉਂਤਬੰਦੀ ਘੜਨ ਲਈ ਲੰਬੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
