And finally, it is our honour to present the Keynote Speaker for the Closing Ceremony of SFHSMUN'16, Mrs. Shobhaa De!
Mrs. De is one of India's most famous and eminent journalists. Being a best selling novelist and a columnist, she has contributed profusely to literature. Her works have been translated into many different languages and she has been accredited with the reform and rise of women's fiction. Books, columns and television, she has done it all. Currently, Mrs. De is working as a columnist and writes for a periodical, "The Week". Her highly individualistic style of writing is a breath of fresh air and sets her a class apart from her contemporaries. It is our honour to introduce Indian diplomat, Mr. Deepak Vohra, as the moderator for the panel discussion that will be held on evening of the 29th of July. He has served as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and has previously been India’s ambassador to Poland. During his service in the Indian Foreign Service, he has served in France, Tunisia, United States, Chad, Cameroon, Papua New Guinea, Spain, Armenia and Sudan. He has also previously worked with Sulabh International and has been a part of United Nations assignments in Africa. With his extensive insight and expertise on matters of development in developing countries and an acute understanding of political mechanics and international diplomacy, he is sure to conduct a scintillating discussion amongst our esteemed panelists!

Mr. Raj Chengappa is an award winning journalist, Group Editorial Director (Publishing) of India Today and former Editor in Chief of the Tribune. He has done over a hundred cover stories and exclusive reports on a range of subjects for the magazine, including international affairs, defence, science, health, education and environment. He is also currently the Indian editor of the Indian edition of Scientific American and India Today Aspire, a magazine on careers and education. Considered one of India's foremost writers on security affairs, he is the author of the best-selling book on India's nuclear programme titled, Weapons of Peace: The Secret Story of India's quest to be a Nuclear Power. We are honoured to have Mr. Chengappa as one of the panelists at the Panel Discussion of SFHSMUN'16!
