🔎 Get analysed your sample with recently installed facility by
Anton Paar Quantachrome Autosorb IQ Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) techniques at SAIF Panjab University Chandigarh

✏️ The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) Analysis is a widely used method for determining the surface area and porosity of materials, particularly in the field of material science. It involves measuring the amount of gas (usually nitrogen) adsorbed on a material's surface at different pressures, from which the surface area and other important characteristics can be derived.

Key Applications of BET Analysis

🔎 Surface Area Measurement:

🔎 Nanomaterials: For materials like nanomaterials, which can have extremely high surface areas, BET analysis is crucial in assessing their properties.

🔎 Porosity and Pore Size Distribution:
Porous Materials: BET analysis provides information about the size, volume, and distribution of pores in materials like activated carbon, zeolites, and silica gels.

🔎 Battery Technology: For energy storage materials like supercapacitors or lithium-ion battery electrodes,

🔎 Adsorption Studies:
Gas Adsorption: BET is used to determine the adsorption properties of materials towards specific gases.

🔎 Environmental Applications: It is also used in the study of environmentally friendly materials designed for adsorption of pollutants like heavy metals or organic compounds from air or water.

🔎 Quality Control:

🔎 Cement and Concrete

🔎 Food and Agricultural Products:

🔎 Textiles and Filtration Materials:

🔎 Environmental and Industrial Research:

Carbon Capture: BET analysis is used in the development of adsorbent materials for capturing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Air Purification: Similarly, materials used in the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or other pollutants from air or water are evaluated using BET.

🔎 Pharmaceutical Research
