We had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Jagmeet S. Bedi, Director & Head of the Panjab State Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), to the Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility Saif Cil PanjabUniversity. His visit opened up exciting conversations about bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application.
During the interaction, we explored the immense potential for SAIF’s advanced research infrastructure to support industry needs—from material characterization and analytical services to innovation-driven R&D. ✏️ The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) Analysis is a widely used method for determining the surface area and porosity of materials, particularly in the field of material science. It involves measuring the amount of gas (usually nitrogen) adsorbed on a material's surface at different pressures, from which the surface area and other important characteristics can be derived.
