“A friendly reminder:
When you book an appointment with anyone (PT, stylist, tutor, massage therapist, personal trainer, life coach, manicurist, etc) you have purchased a ticket for their services at a specific time. If you cancel last minute (or don’t show), you don’t get the ticket refunded & you should have to pay their fee.
Here’s why:
1. They set that spot up for you. With a space, staff & supplies ready to go. Those things are already bought and have to be paid for. Period.
2. They likely prepped for you (chart audit, case review, equipment setup, etc) in advance so they’ve already done work on your behalf. That represents lost hours now.
3. You booked it. It’s just for you. Reserved and ready to go.
It’s like a movie ticket, theatre event, or salad at the store. If you don’t use it for whatever reason, that’s on you. You don’t get the money back just because you failed to utilize the item. Imagine taking your old, rotten, never-opened bag salad back to the store and asking for a refund because you failed to eat it before it expired…that would be absolute madness.
So please, don’t harass providers when you fail to make it to an appointment that you booked. Don’t yell, cry, make excuses, etc. They will charge you and no, it’s not a punishment. It’s business.
The end.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.”

Here's my husband rocking his Mid 40's, proving that life is one and you better live your dreams in this life itself. He's a veteran, currently studying in MIT and Harvard, made his best name and left amazing, never forgetting mark in army ( which he still says that army his first wife) I'll always be the second🙄.. He's an inspiration to many, specially for me and our daughter..
