The students were assigned different departments of the bank, such as account opening, cash handling, deposits, loans, and customer service. Each department worked independently and managed all transactions efficiently.
The Bank Day activity proved to be a great learning experience as students gained practical exposure to banking procedures and financial management. The bank also offers loans which were availed of by many of our sub-staff. Overall, the event was informative, enjoyable, and highly successful.

Commission for Protection of Child Rights ( ) organized an awareness session on Child Rights, the Act, Cyber Safety and Substance Abuse at Saupin’s 32, for school transport staff, bus drivers, conductors, and lady attendants. Ms. Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, CCPCR, along with Mrs Ankita POCSO Consultant, sensitized the staff about child rights, provisions of the POCSO Act and their vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
She also emphasized the growing need for anti-drug awareness and cyber safety to prevent cyber bullying and unsafe social media usage.
Bus staff members were also instructed to ensure the availability of essential facilities such as first aid kits and functional CCTV cameras and GPS in school buses.
Mrs. Surita Sharma thanked the team from CCPCR for the valuable awareness programe.

Vedant Garg of Class 9 participated in the Chandigarh State Open Chess (U-19) Championship, 2026 held at Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh.
He bagged the title of Champion and will represent Chandigarh in the upcoming U19 Nationals soon.

The Heritage club also visited the Pierre Jeanneret Museum in Chandigarh to explore the architectural legacy of the city beautiful Chandigarh and the creative visionaries who shaped it.
* Jeanneret’s focus on sustainable living and climate-responsive design, with the use of perforated brick screens (jalis) and deep verandahs to manage the Indian heat were highlighted.
Students also saw Jeanneret’s personal workspace, a unique spiral staircase, and the restored rooms that reflect his "Creative Humility".
The Heritage Crusaders were inspired by Jeanneret's minimalistic style and creativity.

On the occasion of World Museum Day, students of Saupin’s School, Chandigarh enthusiastically participated in a Heritage Club activity “Museum of My Personal Heritage “ by bringing treasured heirlooms from their families. Around 18 students and teachers showcased fascinating heritage items including old currency, tribal daggers, a traditional Phulkari dupattas, Rajasthani poshak and other handmade artifacts.
Saupin’s encourages such tours and activities to highlighted the importance of preserving culture, traditions, and family history for future generations.

The students of Class 9 visited the Indian Air Force Museum as part of an educational trip. The museum displayed old fighter planes, helicopters, uniforms, weapons, and many historical photographs related to the Indian Air Force. The guide explained the history and achievements of the Air Force, which made the visit very interesting and informative. Students were excited to see real aircraft up close and learn about the bravery and dedication of Air Force officers. The trip increased our knowledge about the armed forces and filled us with pride and patriotism. It was a memorable experience for all the students.

Prisha Wadhwa of Class LKG and Devanjali of Class 7 participated in the Bal Veda Roller Skating Championship organised by Wind Chaser Skating Academy at Skating Rink, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
Prisha won 2 Gold medals in the 1 and 2 lap races in the U-6 category while Devanjali won a Silver medal in the 3 lap Inline Skating (U- 12 to 15) category.
