Occupational Disease Silicosis (mainly in coal mining) attracts Tuberculosis mycobacterium bacteria rapidly. So precautions must be taken in coal mines as Silicosis is irreversible disease. Once detected it is almost impossible to clear lungs from silica.

In other words silica dust which is present in sand and coal, keep distance from dust. Because prolong inhaling silica for 10 or more years completely destroy our lungs.
