Report on Flood Relief Donation Drive

The Interact Club of Delhi Public School Chandigarh organised a thoughtful donation drive to extend support to the people affected by the devastating floods in Assam. The students, along with the school community, generously contributed essential relief materials such as rice, atta, Maggi, biscuits, namkeen, sanitary napkins, baby food, ghee and several other daily-use items. The initiative aimed to provide immediate assistance and basic necessities to families facing difficulties due to the floods.

With the valuable support of the local NGO, Meshaan, the collected ration and relief material will first be transported to Delhi. From Delhi, Indian Airlines will facilitate its transportation to Guwahati. The relief supplies will then be handed over for distribution among the flood-affected victims in Assam. This noble initiative demonstrated the spirit of empathy, compassion and social responsibility among the students. It also highlighted the importance of coming together to support communities during times of crisis.

_Spidey Takes Over Classes VIII & IX !_

The Jagat Cinema in Sec 17 turned into New York City for a day as _Classes VIII & IX_ enjoyed a power-packed screening of _Spider-Man: Brand New Day_ on 10th August! From the very first swing, students were glued to the screen, thrilled by the stunning visuals and jaw-dropping web-slinging action.

Cheers, claps, and whistles filled the hall during every fight scene. Many students were so excited they eagerly stayed till the last credits to catch every detail. Beyond the fun, the film’s message of courage and “with great power comes great responsibility” struck a chord.

The excitement didn’t end there — there were animated discussions all the way back to class about favorite heroes, villains, and those epic web-slinging stunts!

It was truly a web-tacular break from books and a day to remember!
