Life at CBS centres on a shared commitment to academic excellence, intellectual growth, arts, athletics, high standards of ethical awareness, sportsmanship, and community service. Depth and variety are added to each student's life by the school's traditions and accessibility to a broad curriculum. The school, though wholly autonomous, proudly upholds its founders' commitment of excellence in all fields, with emphasis on the motto

"Walk As Children of Light". Founded in 1986 with just 20 pupils, Chandigarh Baptist School has matured into a high quality, modern SENIOR SECONDARY School without sacrificing the unique qualities we've always valued. With a school roll of 1200 and 80-strong teaching staff, we are still noted for the caring, friendly atmosphere which only our school can provide. Our dedicated and experienced staff encourage the children to work hard, to enjoy their academic subjects, and to play a full part in the wide variety of extra-curricular activities on offer.Small class sizes and closer levels of individual attention enable the children to reach the highest standards. Our aim is to assist you, the parent, in producing confident, well-mannered, well-educated children - but most of all, to prepare them for life's challenges through the gift of a happy education
