An Alumna of 2001-2004 batch, Ms Nayana Bhandari ( Nayana Sahajpal previous name) has co-produced a feature documentary, GEETA, which had its world premiere at Melbourne International Film Festival https://miff.com.au/program/film/geeta in August, 2021.

It is a powerful story which comes from India and is being shown on Australian screens. Ms Nayana Bhandari has attached a confidential Electronic Press Kit for all of us.

We are so proud of you, dear Alumna for taking stories of women of courage to global spaces.

Geeta This true story of an acid attack survivor’s fight to alter her daughter’s destiny is an inspiring and heartwarming call-to-action.

We feel proud to share that our alumna, Ms Purujit Kaur (2019-20 batch) bagged a 6-month Internship with the UN Peacekeeping Mission at UN Headquarters, New York City.
Ms Purujit will be pursuing Media Relations Internship with the Department of Political & Peacebuilding Affairs and Peace Operations at United Nations Headquarters, new York City.

Congratulations to such women who make us proud! :)

Our dear Alumna, Ms Pawandeep Kaur (B.A. Eng Hons. 2018) has recently got selected in the Indian Air Force in the Education Branch. She will be commissioned as Flying Officer after 1 year of training at Air Force Academy.

We at AMDA, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh extend our heartiest congratulations to Ms Pawandeep and wish her many more milestones of achievements in life! :)
