A small rabbit says good night to every thing in his room. Be it his paintings, mittens or his other pet friends. Thats what GoodNight Moon is all about. Why is the book a cult favourite for kids and is still a bestseller?

The first reason is the cute contents of the book. A small little rabbit wishes GoodNight to everything in his room. The book is more of like “I spy” games we play with our little ones. The book makes the little ones observant about each and every detail of the book. The illustrations by Clement Hurd in the book are beautifully thought with a mix of black and white as well as bright hues like orange and green. While there is no storyline of the book, the book is extremely good for toddlers aged 1 and up to ace up the vocabulary. A perfect bedtime read.

HARRY the Dirty Dog

A white dog with black spots, this is what naughty Harry looked like. And the one thing Harry did not like was taking a bath. To evade a bathing session, Harry went on a fun filled muddy and dirty adventure. You should definitely give the book a read to find out how Harry turned dirty and how he got himself cleaned.

If you are a pet parent, you would understand how crazy sometimes your fluff ball can be. The book is hilarious and is perfect to the little pre schoolers for whom dirt and mud is always an attraction.

Three must visit bookstore in Bengluru

1. Higginbothams

Its India’s first bookstore and is located in MG Road, Bengluru. The bookstore is spacious and has a huge collection of books from all the genres. I specially liked the children’s area with a vide variety of books and cute stationaries. If you are a book lover, this store is a must visit.

2. The Bookworm Bookstore

Located in the famous Brigade Road, this bookstore goes by its tagline. Great books at great prices. I was astonished to see the second hand books section and also the price they had for the books. Not only in second hand books, but they also deal in books from all genres and books for competitive exams.

3. Blossom Book House

Another bookstore with great collection and great prices. They had a massive collection of second hand books by great authors at attarctive prices. Oh, how I wish I could spend more time there.
