Patriotic Fervor Marks 80th Independence Day at GPW Chandigarh.
The campus of Government Polytechnic for Women ,Sector 10-D, Chandigarh vibrated with patriotic pride as students and staff gathered to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day. The event commenced with Vande Matram , as the nation celebrates 150 years of VANDE MATRAM and Yuva Shakti for VIKSIT BHARAT .This was followed by unfurling of the National Tricolor.All present gave a stirring rendition of the National Anthem.

Addressing the gathering, the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Vin Dosajh, delivered an evocative keynote highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and linking independence to female empowerment and technical education.

She emphasised that independence is best celebrated by building self-reliance, nurturing competent skills, and fostering absolute academic and professional excellence.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. (Mrs.) Richa Tiwari, Secretary of the Student Council. The celebration left the entire campus community deeply inspired and re-committed to contributing meaningfully to the nation’s growth.
