A Grand Celebration of Diplomacy, Dialogue, and Leadership as part of its centennial celebrations, Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary Model School successfully hosted MRA MUN 2025, a dynamic Model United Nations conference that showcased students’ intellect, leadership, and global consciousness. The event provided a vibrant platform for participants to engage in debate, diplomacy, and critical thinking.

With student delegates from various institutions, the conference simulated real-world international diplomacy, allowing participants to sharpen their public speaking, negotiation, and collaborative skills while fostering empathy and leadership.

Opening Ceremony: A Visionary Start
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Manish Tewari, Hon’ble MP from Chandigarh, who delivered an inspiring address on the importance of youth-led diplomacy and conflict resolution. His words left a lasting impact and set a powerful tone for the event.

Closing Ceremony: Inspiration from an Alumnus
The conference concluded with Mr. Prateek Mittal, Executive Director of Sushma Group and proud alumnus of Moti Ram Arya School, as the Chief Guest. A national-level badminton player and IIT-Bombay graduate, Mr. Mittal’s journey deeply inspired students. He urged them to dream big while remaining grounded in values.

Driven by Passion and Leadership
The event was held in collaboration with Mr. Pranav Joshi, CEO of Informative Initiative, along with his passionate team. The support and encouragement of President Mr. Anil Mahajan, Director Ms. Rachna Mahajan, and Principal Dr. Seema Biji played a key role in the event’s success.

M.R.A Chandigarh, proudly organized the Delegate Briefing and Training session for MRAMUN 2025—an insightful orientation designed to empower young delegates from Grades 6 to 11. The event offered students a rich introduction to the dynamic world of Model United Nations, providing them with a foundational experience in international dialogue, diplomacy, and leadership.

The session was led by Mr. Pranav Joshi and Mr. Kanish Singla—both seasoned MUN leaders and passionate mentors. While Pranav shared his personal journey and offered expert guidance on MUN formats and resolution writing, Kanish added depth with his practical insights into committee dynamics, public speaking, and negotiation techniques.

Together, they created a vibrant learning environment where students explored the nuances of diplomacy, sharpened their communication skills, and engaged in hands-on simulations. The session not only demystified MUN procedures but also instilled confidence and critical thinking among the delegates.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of students and the inspiring mentorship of Pranav and Kanish, the event laid a strong foundation for the upcoming MRAMUN 2025. It motivated students to debate, deliberate, and contribute meaningfully to discussions on global issues—transforming them into future-ready MUN leaders.
