*iṣ (pronounced “icchh”)*
*Friday, 29 May | 7:00 PM | Alliance Française de Chandigarh*
iṣ is a forty-minute contemporary dance performance that explores the shifting landscape of human desire—how it arises, multiplies, and entangles us. Conceptualised and performed by Puneet Jewandah and Ajay Parche, the piece emerges from personal reflection and philosophical inquiry, questioning which desires are truly our own and which are shaped by society.

This morning, 22 students from Class 9 to 12 at Amity International School visited the World without End exhibition at Alliance Française de Chandigarh, along with their teachers, Ms. Aarti, Mr. Aniket & Ms. Stuti.
The visit took them through a commented tour of the exhibition, a reading session with our curated book selection, a screening and discussion of Pié Dan Lo by Kim Yip Tong (France/Mauritius, 2024) — made possible by IF Cinéma — and a forward-looking workshop where each student shared their hopes and dreams for the future of our planet. The morning wrapped up with a loup garou game session in the library.
All organised and guided by Shilpi (cultural coordinator) nd F***y (librarian)

WORLD WITHOUT END, Le Monde sans fin
May 9 - June 5, 2026, AF Gallery
Join us for the opening on May 9 at 11:30 AM, featuring a sustainable buffet.
Based on the record-breaking graphic novel by Jean-Marc Jancovici and Christophe Blain, this exhibition tackles the climate crisis with wit and wisdom. Through a playful yet profound dialogue, the duo explores energy transition, economic shifts, and sustainable solutions for our collective future.
The exhibition brings together two heavyweights: Christophe Blain, a two-time Angoulême Best Album winner, and Jean-Marc Jancovici, a renowned energy expert and member of France’s High Council for the Climate. Together, they transform complex ecological challenges into a captivating visual narrative that was France's best-selling book of 2022.
