A joyful introduction to French for young children

Little Moments in French is a brand-new monthly activity designed for our youngest audience (children aged 5 to 8 years). Through storytelling, songs, games, creative activities and more, children will discover the French language in a playful, relaxed, and welcoming environment.

Held in the cozy setting of the Alliance Française Chandigarh library and activate by Parneet Khurana (French teacher) & F***y Garg (Librarian), this one-hour session encourages curiosity, imagination, and shared moments between parents and children, no prior knowledge of French required!

*BELC India 2026* brought together French language educators from across the country at Goa University for an intensive week of professional development, collaboration, and pedagogical innovation. 🎓

*We are proud to highlight* *Ms. Tanusha Sharma* , who represented *Alliance Française de Chandigarh* at this prestigious program held from *25 to 29 May 2026* .

As part of the program, she successfully completed the modules « Adopter des techniques pour développer la mémoire des apprenants » and « Intégrer la gamification en classe de FLE », gaining practical strategies to enhance learner motivation, retention, and participation in the language classroom. ✨

*Organized by France Éducation international (FEI),* the BELC program is one of the world's leading professional training initiatives for French language teachers. It provides educators with opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences, and develop practical strategies that respond to the evolving needs of language learners in today's multicultural and digital learning environments. ✨

Upon successfully completing the training and receiving her certification, Ms. Sharma returns with new perspectives, enhanced expertise, and a wealth of resources that will further enrich the learning experience of students at *Alliance Française de Chandigarh.*

Looking back on iṣ (pronounced “ishhh”) | Friday 29 May

So proud and so happy to have presented this choreographic and reflective work on human nature and its desires.

iṣ was born from a fortunate encounter between two artists deeply committed to their craft, Puneet Jewandah and Ajay Parche, and from two years of rehearsal, research and creativity.

Nearly 80 people in the audience, won over and spellbound by a powerful, profound narrative thread that reached into our perceptions, our emotions and our very corporeality.

We look forward to welcoming more demanding work like this, created right here in Chandigarh.
