The ICSE Inter-School Yoga Competition (Junior Category) was hosted with great enthusiasm at C.L. Aggarwal DAV Model School.

​The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Ms. Jyotika Ahuja, alongside the esteemed panel of judges and accompanying teachers from participating schools.

​The competition witnessed energetic participation from young yoga enthusiasts across various ICSE schools, who displayed exceptional flexibility, balance, and mastery over various asanas.

​CHANDIGARH: C.L. Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, in association with the Environment Society of Chandigarh, celebrated ‘Jamun Day’ with immense enthusiasm on the school campus today.

C.L. Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7-B, celebrated Van Mahotsav Week and a vibrant ‘Mango Mela’ from July 1 to July 6, 2026, under the theme ‘Making a Green World – One Tree at a Time’. Students from Grades 1 to 10 enthusiastically participated in various activities, which included creating innovative objects from waste, writing essays and poems, and designing awareness posters, while kindergarteners captivated the audience with special eco-themed performances. The event concluded with an exotic display of mango varieties in the presence of Chief Guest Sh. Maheshinder Singh Sidhu (Area Councillor, Sector 7) and Special Guest Sh. N.K. Jhingan (Secretary, Environment Society Chandigarh), who both joined the students in planting saplings and taking a green pledge. Principal Mrs. Jyotika Ahuja highly praised the students' creative efforts and encouraged them to consistently adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily live.
