5. Answer the questions based on the given information.

Madhu created a design on his floor using a combination of graphs of inverse trigonometric functions in the domain [-4, 4]. He also represented the coordinate axes for reference. He asked his friends, Kulsum and Snehal, to choose a path to walk on. Kulsum chose path ABCDEF, while Snehal chose path PQCRES. They both started walking at the same time and with the same speed.

(i) The graphs of which of the two functions are combined to form the path that Snehal chose?
(ii) Write the domain of each of the two functions that Kulsum chose as her path to walk on.
(iii) Write the range of each of the two functions that Kulsum chose as her path to walk on.
(iv) What is the x-coordinate of Kulsum’s and Snehal’s first meeting point? Show your steps.

If your Class 12 Maths exam is on 9 March, make sure you practice questions based on:

• Inverse Trigonometric Functions
• Domain and Range
• Graph based case study questions

These types of questions are very common in CBSE sample papers and board exams.

Polynomials is a scoring chapter in Class 10 CBSE Maths — but only if students write the steps correctly.

We’ve explained NCERT Exemplar Polynomials Exercise 2.3 Question 5 in a clear, step-by-step manner using the factorisation method and verified the relations between zeroes and coefficients.

This is exactly the type of question where students lose marks due to presentation errors.

CBSE vs JEE Confusion in Class 11? A Simple Home Coaching Roadmap

Parents often choose at-home learning in Class 11 because the real issues aren’t “lack of effort”—it’s gaps like continuity confusion, skipped graphs, messy diagrams, and answers without step-wise justification.

What helps most:

concept clarity + logical proofs
graph-based understanding (not memorizing)
CBSE vs JEE plan clarity
timed practice for exam temperament
accuracy training to cut silly mistakes
