Students and faculty members of GS Foundation College of Law, including Ms. Puneet Panesar, Ms. Manjit Kaur, and Dr. Archana Chawla, attended a workshop on "The Menace of Substance Abuse: Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs" at Panjab University, Chandigarh, on January 24, 2025.
The workshop featured Honorable Governor of Punjab, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, as the Chief Guest and Honorable Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, as the Guest of Honour. In his address, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria highlighted the pressing issue of rising drug consumption among youth in Punjab. He emphasized the significant role of women as 'Shakti' in combating this growing crisis.
Following the insightful session, the students and faculty members of GS Foundation College of Law enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing visit to Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.
